A Complaint has been filed against you in the Court of Common Pleas of Mahoning County, Ohio, 120 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44503. The case is captioned Steven A. Lev v. API (USA) Holding, Ltd., et al., Case Number 05CV 733 and is assigned to Judge James C. Evans. The object of the complaint is to
seek declaratory judgment of the rights of the parties and to pursue claim of libel, slander and defamation against the defendants for knowlingly and/or with such reckless disregard for their truth or falsity that knowledge may be inferred, making false statement and committing malicious acts of slander and libel against Plaintiff by the publication of wholly false verbal and written accusations charging Plaintiff with the commission of acts amounting to criminal fraud and theft, gross misconduct, dishonesty and other allegations to the grave detriment of Claimant and his reputation both generally and as a businessman in the holographic and larger communities. The Complaint seeks damages in excess of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), an award of punitive damages, and award of attorney fees and costs and such other relief as justice may require.
You are required to answer the Complaint within Twenty-eight (28) days from the last date of publication of this notice, which will be published for six (6) successive weeks, said answer day being the 4th day of April, 2006.
In case of your failure to answer or otherwise respond as required by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
