Notice is hereby served upon the defendant, Energy Production, Inc., that the Plaintiff, Eric Petroleum Corporation, of 4206 1/2 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406, filed its complaint against Jimmie R. Douglas, Rebecca A. Douglas, John B. Reardon, Mahoning County Treasurer, and Energy Production, Inc. on January 24, 2005, in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas as Case No. 05CV 258. The complaint seeks to foreclose the judgment lien that the Plaintiff, Eric Petroleum Corporation, holds against the property of the Defendants, Jimmie R. Douglas and Rebecca A. Douglas, located at 9080 Stratton Road, Salem, Ohio 44460 in Section 2, Goshen Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, Parcel No. 13-016-0-005.17. The Defendant, Energy Production, Inc., may have or claim to have a working interest in the portion of an oil and gas lease originally covering 167 acres, more or less, that pertains to the subject premises and that was originally entered into by and between David & Sheban, et al., as Lessors, to Union Oil & Development Co., as Lessee, dated October 16, 1975, and recorded in Lease Volume 180, Page 158 of the Mahoning County Records.
The complaint demands that the defendant, Energy Production, Inc., answer and set up any right, title, interest, lien, or estate in said real property that it has or claims to have therein or be forever barred from asserting the same. The last known addresses of the Defendant, Energy Production, Inc., were 444 Frederick Avenue, Suite 300, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877 and 4125 Hills & Dales Road, Suite 400, Canton, Ohio 44708. The corporation apparently moved from both addresses and left no forwarding address.
Energy Production, Inc. is hereby notified that it has twenty-eight (28) days from the date of the last publication of this notice in which to file its answer to the complaint of the plaintiff, Eric Petroleum Corporation. If Energy Production, Inc. fails to appear and defend in this action by failing to file an answer within the prescribed time, a default judgment may be entered against it and in favor of the Plaintiff, and any interest that Energy Production, Inc. may claim in the real estate may be foreclosed upon. Energy Production, Inc. or its attorney should contact the Court immediately for a copy of the complaint.
