League of Women Voters announces 2026 Hall of Fame honorees

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The League of Women Voters Greater Youngstown is honoring outstanding women in the greater Youngstown Community. This year’s honorees are:
Marie Dockry, Governing Board Member for the Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio and the Mahoning County Career and Technological Center
Amanda Fehlbaum, PhD, Associate Professor of Sociology and Director, Women and Gender Studies, Youngstown State University
Julie M. Green, Director, Trumbull County Planning Commission
Lisa Lee Kohler, community leader and volunteer, President, League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown
Jessica Lev, JD, Associate General Counsel, Phantom Fireworks
Sarah Lown, Director of Public Finance, Western Reserve Port Authority
Brandi Shamara Parker, Assistant Director, Outreach, Axess Family Services
Cheryl Saffold, JD, President, Community Concerned Citizens II
Jorine Stone, community leader and past President, American Association of University Women, Youngstown Chapter
These women will be inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame at a ceremony to recognize all of their accomplishments. The ticketed event will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown Dinner provided by Inspired Catering
